Indivisible Gig Harbor is a grassroots coalition of engaged citizens pursuing progressive action to transform the current political climate on local, state, and federal levels.

We aim to:

Educate and empower the members of our community to be more engaged citizens
Organize targeted collective actions to make our voices heard
Resist racism, sexism, authoritarianism, and the corporate control of our democracy
Demand that our elected officials support progressive policies that serve the public interest
Model inclusion, respect, and fairness in all of our actions
Transform the current political climate: work to create a more genuine and responsive democracy on the local, state, and federal levels

Help fight the Big Ugly Bill

that will….

Raise our health care premiums
Close rural hospitals
Allow the tariffs to go through
Allow cuts to items that Congress has already approved
Allow the additional budget cuts to programs we support like Medicaid, food assistance, etc. by supporting the Democrats fight over the budget.

Sample email to Sen Schumer:

I am in support of your decision to fight for “we the people” over the budget for the Big Beautiful Bill (which I hate by the way). Health care, costs, and budget cuts (including rescinding money Congress has already approved) are so important that we should risk a government shut-down over these issues. Framing the argument that you are saving the public from higher health care premiums, closing of rural hospitals, higher costs due to tariffs and mass deportation will sway the public so they understand that President Trump and the Republicans have caused this crisis.

Also, I support using Article III, Section 2. Clause 2 to restrict what cases SCOTUS reviews in a strategic manner. Congress needs to regain and retain its Constitutional powers.
